Yesterday was my birthday. And I received a pretty special birthday gift.
I was able to hold copy #1 in my hands of my new book STRIDE for Stride: A Physical Therapist’s Playbook for Runners.
Most of you reading this blog know about the book, but some of you may not. STRIDE for Stride is something of a compilation of my philosophy as a physical therapist, the foundations of my faith, and all the lessons I’ve picked up along a decade of working with runners as a physical therapist and athletic trainer.
It’s been a long journey, kind of like an ultra-marathon, and it was a great gift to have the closure and peace of seeing it in hand on my birthday.
One of my goals for the book is to get it into as many hands as possible.
For runners, yes! But also for clinicians, coaches, and even those who aren’t sure about running. I wrote the book in such a way that I hope it can be an accessible, trustworthy, and enjoyable “blueprint” to help anybody understand the marvel of the human body.
It would mean a lot to have you spread the word.
If you can help support my work by buying the book, that would mean a lot to me! Here are a few ways to help get the word out, too:
Go to www.runstrideforstride.com (or Amazon.com) and buy the book (hardcover or softcover). Ebook will be available later this week!
(You can also join the newsletter if you aren’t already subscribed.)
Forward this post to a friend, family member, or someone you know who might like to support my work or benefit from learning about the body’s amazing abilities that show forth in running.
You can also buy the book in bulk. If you know of a club, sports team, business, or group that would benefit- go to the above website and scroll to the bottom to learn about bulk purchases for individual use or resale (businesses). You can also just email strideforstridebook@gmail.com for info.
I saw on its release date that it claimed the #1 Amazon spot for a new release in it’s category- let’s see if we can keep it there and spread the word.
Thanks for reading. Thanks for moving.
